  • Filtered water (or bottled water)
  • AeroPress Coffee Maker

  • AeroPress filter paper
  • Kettle

Step 1

Boil filtered water in a kettle and set this aside for 30 seconds.

Step 2

Put your paper filter in the plastic filter and soak it wet with warm water. But watch out for your fingers!

Step 3

Attach the filter to the bottom half of your AeroPress. Place this over your mug and on your scales – if you’re using them.

Step 4

Weigh 12g of medium-fine-grind coffee – which is one full AeroPress scoop.

Step 5

Grab your AeroPress funnel and pour the coffee through this into your AeroPress.

Step 6

Pour 200ml (200g) of just off boiling water into the bottom half of your AeroPress.

Step 7

Put the lid on, place this over your mug and wait for 2 minutes.

Step 8

Gently push down on the lid of your AeroPress until you hear a hissing sound. This signals that there’s no more coffee to come out.

Step 9

Enjoy your coffee.
