We had the pleasure and privilege of providing the good stuff for two key events at London Coffee Festival 2023, the biggest coffee party. Let’s look back on this year’s LCF. 

Coffee Masters

The stakes were high at this year’s Coffee Masters. With a £5000 prize and the prestigious title of Coffee Masters on the line, 16 baristas came together to show off their skills. 

Magic happens when a talented barista uses the very best coffee, so we were really excited to provide for this knockout-style competition that had challenges testing the collective strength of the barista. 

Most challenging of all was the round sponsored by yours truly. The baristas had eight filter coffees and one espresso to taste, all unlabelled, and they had to guess the origin of each of the coffees.

A massive congratulations to this year’s Coffee Masters winner, Jānis Podiņš, from Copenhagen. Here’s what he had to say:

The Smirnoff Cocktail Masterclass

Attendees got to learn the art of coffee mixology in The Smirnoff Cocktail Masterclass. During the 45 minute class, we handed out coffee left, right and center for use in two outstanding coffee cocktails - the classic espresso martini and the Smirnoff Hi-5, a LCF exclusive.

The masterclass was the perfect opportunity for cocktail lovers to master their cocktail making with all the benefits of thoughtfully sourced and roasted coffee. They got to use our bestselling Bourbon Cream Espresso for their espresso martini and our delicious micro-lot Mi Bendicion for the Smirnoff Hi-5.
